The highest- and lowest-priced homes sold in B.C.: January 12 to 18
According to BC Business, We’re only in the third week of January, and sales are already up compared to the same time last year. “Sales activity in Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and in most places in B.C. is above the 10-year monthly moving average, according to sales data from the boards,” King says.
Of the sales recorded last week, 24 percent of properties sold for 100 percent or more of list price. Another 55 percent went for between 90.0 and 99.99 percent of list price, and 10 percent for between 80.0 and 89.99 percent. For the first time this year, three of the tracked properties sold for less than 77 percent of asking.
